The Wisconsin Association of FFA Honors Band and Choir come together to entertain FFA members, advisors, and guests at the 97th Wisconsin Association of FFA State Convention. Mayville student Nolan L. was selected to join over 80 young musicians in the Wisconsin FFA Honors Band, and Mya L. was selected to join over 70 musicians in the Wisconsin FFA Honors Choir.

Nolan and Mya were selected through an application and audition process by the directors of the Wisconsin FFA Honors Band and Choir. Nolan and Mya joined their groups to practice together for the first time at 8am on the first day of convention, with concerts held only a short time later that afternoon. If you missed them at the convention, don’t miss them at the Wisconsin State Fair on August 13th-16th!

Mya ended her WI FFA State Convention with the announcement that she is being nominated to the National FFA Honors Choir to represent Wisconsin FFA and perform for the more than 70,000 FFA members and guests visiting the National Convention in Indianapolis in October. Members of the Mayville FFA Chapter attended the 97th Annual Wisconsin Association of FFA State Convention June 15-18 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison to celebrate Wisconsin Agriculture and FFA. At the Wisconsin FFA Convention, Payten B. and Rachel P. represented Mayville FFA as voting delegates to the convention. Payten and Rachel served on committees and participated in business sessions that guide the running of the Wisconsin Association of FFA, along with being part of the selection process that elected Mayville’s First Wisconsin FFA State Officer.

Mayville FFA Members received the P.R.I.D.E. Award (Promote, Recruit, Inspire, Develop, and Educate) at the Wisconsin FFA Convention. The P.R.I.D.E award recognizes specific Wisconsin FFA Chapters that demonstrate continual recruitment and member retention.

Members also participated in workshops, attended the WI FFA Convention Expo, explored the top proficiencies, WI Star Degree Finalists, and so much more. #mayvillecardinals #mayvilleschools #cardinalpride

A Mayville tradition is making its return—and every burger served helps make a difference in our community!

Join the Mayville Firemen on Thursday, July 9th at the Mayville Legion Baseball Games at Fireman's Baseball Field as they bring back the famous Mayville Fireman's Burgers to support Mayville Cares and the Grandstand Revitalization Project at Fireman's Baseball Field.

⚾ Both Junior Varsity & Varsity teams play that night! 🍔 Serving starts at 5:00 PM and continues until we're sold out!

Come hungry, cheer on our local Legion teams, and help support two incredible community causes. Every burger purchased helps strengthen Mayville for generations to come.

The Envirothon is a hands-on environmental competition testing skills in Aquatic Ecology, Forestry, Wildlife, and Soils & Land Use.

Our Middle School team - Aubrey F., Serinity G., Annica H., Avery H., and Tayden J. (pictured) - had an outstanding day, earning 3rd place overall, placing in the top 3 in every category, tying for 1st in Soils & Land Use, and taking 2nd in Wildlife!

Our High School team - Owen B., Madison F., Hanna H., Nolan L., and Samara H. - represented Mayville well while competing against 29 of Wisconsin's top teams.

Free summer meals for kids at MES! All community children ages 0-18 are welcome to join for breakfast and/or lunch. Children who are not enrolled in summer school must be accompanied by a responsible chaperone. Enter through the main office entrance at Mayville Elementary School (off of Henninger Street). Meals will be served in the cafeteria.

Watch for additional communication coming soon about registration for summer meal pick-up which will begin when our Summer School session ends!

Our very own Mac L. is State Bound for Track!! Mac earned a trip to the State Meet with his 4th place personal best high hurdle effort at the Division II Sectional Event held on 5/29 in McFarland. Mayville also had nine season-best efforts at Sectionals, rounding out a top-notch season for the rest of our track athletes.
