Principal’s Message
This is an exciting time in your child’s education. The primary years are in many ways the most important years for each child, because many attitudes and habits relating to school start now. At Parkview, we are committed to making these years positive and productive.
My name is Becky Le Bouton and I am Parkview’s Principal. I have had the opportunity to work in the Mayville School District for the last 21 years. I taught Science at Mayville High School for 10 years, then moved into the role of High School Dean of Students for five years. During my time as Dean of Students, I attained my administrator’s licensure. I served the district in the role of Director of Learning for one year. Finally, this year I am beginning my 6th year as the Parkview Primary Principal.
At school you will find me doing recess duty and morning door duty. I visit classrooms. You will find me in the halls, the cafeteria, and the gymnasium. I learn best about what is happening at Parkview by being out and about at Parkview!
Outside of school, you will find me with my family. I have been married to my husband, Mike, for 23 years. He teaches in the Horicon School District and is the District’s Activities Director. We have three daughters: Gabrielle, 21; Madeline, 19; and Anna, 15. The two older girls attend college at UWEC and Anna is a sophomore in HS working on getting her driver's license.
As parents, you play a big part in making these years successful for your child. We offer many volunteer opportunities, from helping in the classroom, playground and lunchroom, to chaperoning field trips, or with our frequent school-wide or grade-wide activities. Take time to get to know your child’s teacher and other school staff, and share your ideas with us.
At Parkview, we are committed to providing you and your child with a wide range of support services to meet your child’s needs. Each child deserves the opportunity to achieve at the highest potential, and we will continue to team with you to meet this goal. I am excited to get to know each student and family; to work with the Parkview staff and parents in celebrating student successes; and to sustain a learning environment where all students can learn.
If you have questions or concerns about your child’s education, please contact your child’s teacher or my office. I look forward to traveling through the school year with you, and wish you all a successful educational experience.
