Music is an integral part of a well rounded education. At Mayville High School, students enrolled in the various performance based ensembles receive a relevant and rigorous curriculum that includes both performance and non-performance based standards. These ensembles perform music from a variety of musical genres regularly throughout the school year in formal and informal settings. Participation in these curricular ensembles also allows students to take part in extracurricular musical activities, clubs, and competitive groups. These opportunities range from competitive ensembles to large and small group contests to travel opportunities every 3-4 years.
